Within the City of Memphis, there’s more than one hit-and-run crash per hour. It’s the latest statistic we’re getting from Memphis Police (MPD) as they continue to investigate the people responsible.
Earlier this week, FOX13 spoke to the family of Myeisha Miller, who was severely injured in a hit-and-run on Mother’s Day. It happened near the intersection of North Highland Street and Faxon Street.
“Whoever hit her and left the scene, a man backed up because he thought it was a dog in the road. It just hit me hard,” her godmother, Karen Spencer-McGee, told FOX13.
