MONTEVALLO, ALABAMA – An Alabama woman is accused of using piñata sticks and a metal knife sharpener to abuse two children for years, according to court records.
Maria Perla Elizabeth Garcia Sanchez is charged with two counts of aggravated child abuse.
The case was investigated by Montevallo police.
Investigators said in Garcia Sanchez’s criminal complaint that she abused the children with a “wooden piñata stick, wooden broom, wood spoon, metal knife sharpener, hands, and fists.”
She is accused of abusing one child for four years and another child for three years. One of the children had skull fractures, according to court records.
